YOU magazine!

Just a quick post to say that my images from Nicole Fox (former 5fm DJ)wedding is in the current YOU magazine! The YOU magazine has a massive ciculation as it is a weekly magazine. - We would have got the front cover, but Obama beat us! :) Go get it now!

Trevor Manual & Maria Ramos Wedding!

I am very excited to say that I was chosen as the official and only photographer for Trevor Manual & Maria Ramos wedding held last year 28 Dec 2008. (Trevor Manual is South-Africa's Minister of finance and Maria is one of SA's top business woman.)When I arrived at the gate of the estate there where many paparazzi and press photographers and it was so fun to be allowed by security to go in and they weren't! :) My photos were also used for the newspapers the following two days.

They wanted their wedding very private and therefore I will only post one wedding image that was already released by the press. A previous celebrity wedding I photographed I also respected my clients needs and didn't use any image for three months after the wedding. I am glad that celebrities have trusted me in the past and rest assured they can for the future. I am looking forward to my next celebrity wedding which will be the wedding of Nicole Fox! (Former 5fm DJ!) Her wedding will be featured in YOU / Huisgenoot magazine and a few other places! There will be allot of publicity of her wedding. The coolest thing is that I am the only photographer allowed!

2008 was a great year and ended on high note and 2009 is starting on a high note!

Victoria Falls wedding!

I am off to Victoria Falls this weekend to shoot a wedding and a whole weekend of fun! I cant wait to be inspired by the falls and it is always great to get the chance to shoot a wedding at a new destination!

My beautiful son!

I've wanted to take photos of little Jean-Pierre with this hat for quite some time now. So I grabbed my camera while he was playing put the hat on and as a dad I so love these photos of my son! What makes it extra special is that this hat is my grandfathers hat! I believe there are a few occasions in your life you need to get a professional photographer, for your wedding and definately some of your kids in various stages of their lives! Cant wait to make some enlargements of these :)

Wedding in Elgin!

I really had so much fun shooting the wedding of Annene & Werner! The car was a hit this day! I got allot of my inspiration from the car. I normally don't shoot much with the wedding car, but this one really inspired me.I hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed creating them!

I will give some insight into some of the shots and what I like about them, or why I captured it.





I wanted to create that old film look with this shot of the car.






I love this boys reaction as he looked at me photographing him while everyone prayed in the church!

"Mystery!" I captured this because there was a sense of mystery in the emotion and position of the guys - are they mafia or the grooms bodyguards?


Did I mention I loved the car? Another car shot -I love this one!...and the others too :)






They had a great idea where they had a canvas with some photos of them, and the guests could write notes on the canvas.
